MY STORY
I have been converting vans for over ten years now and have a background in interior/furniture design. I also have over 20 years of experience in the commercial interior sector as a designer and project manager. My wife also has a long career in commercial interiors & showhomes. She has an amazing eye for colour, texture & fabrics- so coupled with my build skills we cover most bases!!
My journey towards Vans started as a youngster in the 80s. I am from the A-Team generation, and as the years have passed I realize that this show had a profound effect on me with the classic GMC truck with its big wheels and aggressive looks!!.

I have always customized the interiors of the vehicles I have owned and back in 2009, I swapped the Land Rover that I had owned for 12 years for a 1995 VW T4 with one of my oldest school friends which finally set the ball rolling.
The interior seed was sown as I had already owned and refurbished several powerboats, so had developed a fascination with how to optimize small & awkward space.
For me, it's all about the journey and the dream - from taking an empty metal shell & designing & building a complete interior with the end goal of road trips, family holidays, & day trips. My driving force is maximizing useable space whilst also maintaining sound design, symmetry & aesthetics.
Our first VW was reimagined several times as our needs changed including pop-top and full conversion. This made way to a number of other conversions which have taken us to some amazing places in a home from home environment.
I became self-employed back in 2013 and that was the game-changer, I was still working in the commercial interior sector but was also converting more and more vans for friends and family until gradually the vans became a full-time operation.
I specialize in VW vans but also work on all other brands. The services I offer are listed below:

I only use premium products for my conversions such as Vohringer, Smev, Dometic, CamperGlass, RIB, Rusty Lee & have built firm relationships with suppliers over the years who offer the best products for each particular job. All furniture is hand built to suit each van. Get in touch now to start your journey..
